CANCELLED- Salt Dogs, Kaplan & The Eagle present Armed Forces Night -Sat, May 20th

05-20-17 Armed Forces Night at Eagle Raceway is cancelled. We will see everyone next Saturday, May 27th for Driver Appreciation Night, the Front Gates will open early at 4PM, and the pit gate will open early at 3PM.

Another week, another great crowd, another large group of racers and another fabulous race day was the rule on Saturday as Pepsi presented Hot Mamas Night on the high banks of America’s Home Track, Eagle Raceway.

Mother Nature evidently felt guilty about forcing so many area tracks to cancel last weekend, so she gave the large crowd and the 171 race teams that came to Eagle Raceway on Saturday night what can only be described as a near-perfect day for racing.

Sprint Nationals purse increases again in 2017!

The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals purse has increased every year since it began. In past years the Main Event’s purse on Sunday had increased. Last year it was increased to $2500 to win and $1250 to start for 27th place car. This year the Main Event Purse will remain the same. It was cool Saturday night as the Nebraska Lottery presented Get Fired Up 2017. A great crowd filled the stands and 178 teams of racers filled the pits. 20 heats and 5 B Features set the line-ups for the main events.
