Armed Forces Night, presented by Miller High Life saw a large crowd turn out to honor those who serve and have served our great country. The weather was beautiful, the racers were anxious to show their stuff and the track was prepped to make the racing fantastic. There were no significant instances in the preliminary action. Nick Bryan flipped the #52 in the initial Budweiser IMCA Sprint Heat #1, but returned to compete in the A Feature. This was the only serious incident in the preliminary action. The Rumble in the Bullring scheduled for Saturday, May 4th has been cancelled in courtesy to the many traveling teams/fans.  Looks like rain/snow/cold in the next couple day’s weather  forcast. by Greg Soukup After last weekend’s Eagle Raceway Icebreaker Challenge fell to Mother Nature, Saturday’s 50th season opener presented by the Nebraska Lottery was held under clear skies and before a good-sized crowd. After a very long and cold winter, fans and drivers alike were ready for a great night of racing and they got that and more as 164 cars checked in for the event. There was just 1 noteworthy incident in the preliminary action as Cory Hutchison went high in the 2nd Budweiser IMCA Racesaver Sprint heat and rolled his mount after contacting the turn 4 wall.
