Calling for Miss Eagle Raceway Contestants!

A maximum of twelve (12) women will be selected as finalists from all of the applications submitted, with the final judging and crowning ceremony being held at the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals race at Eagle Raceway on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 and Sunday, September 4th, 2016 (Rain Date for Crowning: Monday, September 5th) (these are the only REQUIRED dates). Miss Eagle Raceway contestants will be judged during the driver luncheon for the September 3rd race and the winner will be crowned during intermission at the September 4th race, and will act as Trophy Queen for the evening’s events. The winner will be awarded $500. First runner up will be awarded $150 and second runner up will be awarded $100. The 12 finalists will be professionally photographed at the beginning of the season, will have many photographs taken throughout the season’s events, will receive a gift bag of contingency prizes, will be trophy presenters during races, be involved in car shows, intermission activities, and front gate handouts throughout the 2016 racing season (Free gate admission for those signed up to help with weekly events). Each finalist will be able to sign up for the race nights they want to attend and help with.

Contest rules:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
• Do not Apply if you are a previous Miss NE Cup or Miss Eagle Raceway Winner.
• Must be willing to partake in numerous events to promote Eagle Raceway and Special Events. These events include car shows, autograph sessions, weekly races at Eagle Raceway, the drivers’ luncheon/the contest judging session and the crowning ceremony. The only required dates are Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday, September 4th (Rain Date: Monday, September 5th). (We will also figure out a date that everyone is available for a photo shoot at the beginning of the season)
• The Miss Eagle Raceway finalists will be scored during a judging session. Overall scores consist of these categories: participation (20%), submitted bio (10%), photos (10%), and interview (personality(20%), appearance/presence(10%), and answers(20%) all play a role). The judging session will have a panel of non-biased judges both male and female. Also, the Sprint Car drivers will be present during the driver’s luncheon/judging and cast their votes. (Driver votes only count for 10% of the final score)
• The 12 finalists will be provided with an Eagle Raceway promotional top and sash. It will be the finalist’s responsibility to pair the top with appropriate shorts/jeans as instructed by the Miss Eagle Raceway Contest Coordinators. This is the outfit that each finalist will wear while representing Eagle Raceway during promotional events. For the judging session, photo shoot, and crowning ceremony, each finalist will be required to choose a tastefully appropriate black cocktail style dress.

Entries will be accepted until May 16th, 2016 at 11:59 PM. Finalists will be posted on our website and Eagle Raceway Facebook page on or before May 18th, 2016.
