Eagle Raceway
Eagle Raceway has been officially handed down to the next Hadan generation
For Immediate Release:
Eagle Raceway has officially been passed down to the next generation of the Hadan family. Roger Hadan has owned Eagle Raceway since 2007, after leasing and promoting the speedway in 2006 before completing the purchase. Racetrack promotion must run in the family as Roger's grandpa Albert Hadan built the infamous Sunset Speedway in Omaha, NE. With a strong desire to keep racing alive in Eagle, Nebraska for many years to come, Roger has handed over the reins to his daughter, Racine Thompson (Hadan).
Racine has worked at Eagle Raceway since Roger and Michelle took over the track, performing nearly every job imaginable—possibly with the exception of track preparation and large equipment maintenance. Through years of hands-on experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the day-to-day operations of the facility and has worked alongside her father to promote the raceway for many seasons. Sharing many of Roger’s same creative and “crazy” ideas, fans and drivers can expect that there will be no drastic changes to how the track is run.
Roger Hadan is not stepping away entirely. He has committed to continuing his involvement at Eagle Raceway, handling many of the same responsibilities he has for years, including track preparation, equipment maintenance, and race directing. As Roger puts it, he isn’t going anywhere—because he truly loves what he does.
The goal is for Racine to continue building on the legacy that has already been established at Eagle Raceway, ensuring its success and longevity for many years to come. Eagle Raceway's fans and drivers will be in good hands.
