RaceSaver Nationals is this Thursday-Sunday. Over 100 Sprint Cars Pre-Registered

Every year race teams make the long trek from all over the country to test their mettle against all comers at the IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Nationals, powered by Sunbelt Rentals. Likewise, thousands of fans arrive to witness the fierce competition on the high banked 1/3 mile of Eagle Raceway; known to many as the Fastest 1/3 Mile in the world!!

So far, we have 109 teams pre-registered with more to come. Over the four days of the IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Nationals the action will be non-stop from the first green flag Thursday to the final checkers on Sunday night.

In the previous eight competitions only 2 drivers have managed to take home the championship belt twice; Jack Dover and former World of Outlaws driver Jason Martin. Can either of them duplicate their wins, or will another competitor get their second victory? Maybe this is they year that a new driver will mount the top step of the podium on Sunday night. Will one of the Eagle Raceway regulars be able to fend off the invaders, or will one of the visiting drivers claim the victory?

Thursday will give those teams not familiar with the confines of Eagle Raceway the opportunity to get their cars tuned in. Also, that night will feature the Precise Racing Products Race of Champions qualifying which will determine the line-up for the actual race on Saturday.

Friday, the real action will begin as all drivers compete to attempt and secure one of the top nine spots for Sunday’s three-wide finale. Also racing will be the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Then on Saturday, the action continues with racers trying to lock into rows 4 through 6 for Sunday with the Modern Real Estate IMCA Sportmods being the support class.

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Is the culmination of the weekend’s festivities. The support class will be the A1 Iron IMCA Stock cars. Preliminary Feature races for the sprints will be run with the last 3 rows of the finale being filled. Then, the Big Dance will take place. Nowhere else in the world will you see 27 sprint cars take off in 9 rows of 3, hurtling into turn 1 of a dirt bullring!!! That sight is worth the price of admission all by itself. If you’ve never seen it, you have GOT to be there. If you have had the pleasure, tell all your friends what they’ve been missing and bring them along with you.

It all begins Thursday September 2nd and wraps up Sunday September 5th. Have you got your tickets already? If not, don’t worry because there are plenty of good seats still available. A 4-day pass for the grandstands is just $45, saving you $11 over individual night’s cost.

After each night’s racing there will be live bands playing in the pits with the infamous Melon Bar open until 2 A.M.

The winning driver will take home the championship belt and $3000. If they have competed in at least one IMCA Racesaver race, the prize zooms up to $4500. Each driver who makes it to the Sunday A Feature is guaranteed $1500.
