Miss NE Cup Contest Changes for 2015

The Miss Nebraska Cup Contest is being converted to a new title for 2015. The Miss Nebraska Cup contest will now be the Miss Eagle Raceway Contest. The Miss Eagle Raceway Contest will be much more special because we will get to have the girl’s faces out at the track, and get to know them all season long. We will be taking applications for the Miss Eagle Raceway Contest before the 2015 racing season even begins.

Applications are on the website now. If you have questions or would like to enter you may call Racine at 402-238-2595. (Must have your entry in before March 31st 2015. A Maximum of 12 women will be selected as finalists. The Finalists will be posted on Eagle Raceway’s website and social media sites on or before April 6th 2015. Miss Eagle Raceway Contestants are required to be available on Saturday, September 5th for judging at the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals Luncheon, and Sunday, September 6th (rain date: Monday, September 7th) for crowning during intermission at the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Nationals. If you are a Miss Eagle Raceway finalist, duties may include, Car Shows, being at the track to help do hand outs before the races, help with intermission activities, and be Trophy presenters throughout the season. Contestants are not required to be at the track all nights (participation in events is optional) however part of your score is based on participation. Free admission to Eagle Raceway’s events is offered to contestants who are there helping, presenting trophies ect…The winner is awarded $500, first runner up will be awarded $150, and second runner up will be awarded $100. All 12 finalists will be professionally photographed (we will set a date for a photo shoot at the beginning of the season) and receive a gift bag of contingencies. Contestants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Overall scores for the final judging consist of these categories: Participation(20%), Submitted Bio(10%), Photos(10%), On Stage Interview(50% includes: personality, appearance/presence, and answers), and Driver Vote(10%). All finalists will receive a promotional top to wear to represent Eagle Raceway at events. For the judging, photo shoot, and crowning ceremony, each finalist will be required to choose a tastefully appropriate black cocktail style dress to wear.
