The finale for the 2016 Racesaver IMCA Sprint Nationals, presented by Precise Racing Products and NCM/The Cat Rental Store, was one for the record books. The largest crowd yet to see the culmination of the event, featuring the largest car count since its inception enjoyed sunny skies and warm temperatures while they viewed the heated action on the high banks of Eagle Raceway Sunday.

As seems to happen every year during the Racesaver IMCA Sprint Nationals, presented by Precise Racing and NMC/The Cat Rental Store, Mother Nature tried to throw a wrench into the works. An approximate 1 hour rain delay after the second NAPA IMCA Sport Modified Features could not stop the racing action at Eagle Raceway however.

Eagle Shootout winners are Fegley, Deeke, Maas, Andersen & Martin

Eagle Shootout, presented by Great Clips Saturday at Eagle Raceway saw a great crowd show up to watch as the season’s points champions were crowned.

The lone incident in the preliminary action saw the 91BC sprinter of Adam Gullion bicycle in turn 3 during the 4th heat for the Racesaver IMCA Sprints and end up flipping. Unfortunately, the car had too much damage to be repaired in time for the B Feature.
