Sat Ice Breaker is cancelled!!

Due to the weather issues, the Ice Breaker Challenge scheduled for Sat. April 18th has been cancelled. If you have your pit wristband, you can use it on any of these dates:  April 25, 2015, May 2, 2015, May 9, 2015 or May 16, 2015.  Just bring the band with you to the pit shack to use it on any of those nights.  If you want a refund on it, you will need to send it to our office...

Miss Eagle Raceway Contest Registration Deadline Extended

The deadline has been extended for the 2015 Miss Eagle Raceway Applications to be turned in. The deadline is now April 25th 2015 at 11:59PM. The contestants will be posted on or before April 28th 2015. By Greg Soukup A well-timed cool front moved through and dropped temperatures to a reasonable level as Kid’s Night, presented by Casey’s General Store got under way Saturday night at Eagle Raceway. Over 280 children ages 10 and under went home with huge smiles on their faces and a brand new bicycle in their hands as the annual bike giveaway was held during intermission. Bob Dvorak flipped the #17 in turn 3 during the Racesaver IMCA Sprint Car B Feature for the only serious incident in the preliminary events. By Greg Soukup Dirt Cheap Night, presented by Great Clips saw a huge crowd turn out to watch the racing action at Eagle Raceway Saturday evening. Warm and breezy conditions during the afternoon gave way to cool temperatures but the competition made sure that nobody got chilled. There were no major occurrences in the preliminary racing. The NAPA IMCA Sport Modified main event began with Nate Thompson in the 3T, Roger Sluka’s 5XS, Joe Schidler in the K00 and the S56 of Scott Bivens out front of lap #1. Lap 2 saw Schidler and Bivens move to second and third while Benji Legg also passed Sluka to put the 25 into fourth. Legg got past Bivens the next time...

Rather than causing rain and stopping the racing, the evening cooled off and provided a perfect night for the large crowd to enjoy the action at America’s Home Track. No major incidents occurred during the preliminary events. Lap 1 of the NAPA IMCA Sport Modified A Feature was led by Dana Deeke’s 36 followed by Mary Lenz in the 17, the 2R of Don Rinke and Dion Kovar in the 18. By Greg Soukup Freedomfest 2014, presented by Mud in America and Budweiser was held Saturday night at Eagle Raceway with probably the best weather of the year. Numerous other area tracks cancelled, lending extra race teams to the festivities. All preliminary races were held with no serious incidents. The first A Feature saw Josh Kennell’s 71K, the 22K of Kevin Anderson, Scott Bivens in the S56 and Nate Thompson’s 3T leading the NAPA IMCA Sport Modified field at the end of the first lap.
