Jeff Ware 2019 lead-in interview

Jeff Ware 2019 lead-in interview

I know we were all disappointed when the weather forced the cancellation of the 2019 running of The Rumble In The Bullring, so we all need to keep a good thought out for the Icebreaker Challenge which will be run the 19th and 20th of April.

While we are waiting to get our first racing fix, I wanted to pass along a short interview that I did with Jeff Ware.

Jeff Ware had a great 2018 season in the IMCA Hobby Stock Division, winning the track points championships at not only Eagle Raceway but also 1 other track. He also managed to take home the Nebraska state championship for the hobby stock division.

Q:      What do you think helped you to win your championships last year?

Jeff:  Persistence. We just don’t ever give up; we keep going. We have a great maintenance program. It’s a no bad nights, no bad days deal for us. We just keep hustling all the time.

Q:      I’m sure it helps if you enjoy racing at a track. What are your thoughts on Eagle Raceway?

Jeff:  It’s definitely one of my favorite places to race. The atmosphere there is great! The fans are always nice. You can walk up into the stands after the race and people that you don’t even know will come up and congratulate you. It’s always great there.

Q:      What is the plan for 2019?

Jeff:  Probably the same things that we did last year. We’ll run three or four nights a week and see where we end up at the end of the year. We did pick up two new sponsors for 2019; Integra Racing Shocks and Landrum Springs both came on board. We also still have Charger Chassis, Dewine Mechanical, Kula Repair T & R Auto Repair and Demon Decals helping them out.
