Very warm temperatures and a strong south wind greeted the near capacity crowd that came out for Superganza-Driver’s Appreciation Night sponsored by the Nebraska Lottery and Busch Light.

Full Throttle Basket & Bottle Fest is Cancelled for Fri May 25th

The Full Throttle Basket & Bottle Festival is Cancelled for Friday May 25th. Weather is an issue for the Balloon launch and glow for this evening with wind speed and scattered thunder storms possible.
It will not be re-scheduled in 2012, but a 2013 date will be announced soon.
If you have purchased an advanced ticket from T.O. Haas Tires, they will refund your ticket money.

Super Salute! Armed Forces Night falls to the rain

A beautiful spring day, although windy greeted the crowd at Eagle Raceway Saturday evening; but that would change later in the evening.

The preliminary events had two serious incidents. Another large crowd was on hand Saturday night for Diva Dash, Super Mom’s Tribute at Eagle Raceway Saturday night. The weather was beautiful and the racing was great in all classes. An attempt was made to set the world’s record for people doing the Twist during intermission.

Jr. Fan Club Night victories go to Harder Bassinger, Kracht, Saathoff and Jordan

With the very cold temperatures the previous two weeks replaced by 90+ degree and very windy weather, the fans and racers who showed up at Eagle Raceway for Jr. Fan Club Night sponsored by Colby Ridge saw three and four wide racing all the way into the A Features. Sobbing, VanLaningham, Ableson, Lindblad & Boston victorious during Super Mania Night #1

Sunny skies and spring-like temperatures greeted the fans who came to Super Mania Night #1 presented by the Nebraska Lottery at Eagle Raceway as the 2012 season began. But as the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up, the temperatures turned downright chilly. But the hardy folks in the stands saw great racing from the 180+ cars who signed into the pits.

There were 2 minor incidents in the preliminary events that resulted in no significant injuries.
