If you looked up ‘Perfect Night for Racing’ in the dictionary, you would see a picture of Saturday night at Eagle Raceway!! Temperatures started out in the low 80’s with lots of sun and a northerly breeze, cooling to the high 60’s by A Feature time.

Saturday night was Memorial Day Lucky-Ganza, presented by Great Clips and Pro Rolloffs at Eagle Raceway. It also was Driver Appreciation Night since last week’s action was claimed by Mother Nature. Harker, Ware, Zoubek, Fugett & Grossenbacher Conquer Royal Flush Rush

Saturday night’s Royal Flush Rush, presented by Colby Ridge and Runner Freight saw 150 teams fill the pits at Eagle Raceway. Both the weather and the track went through lots of changes; we had intermittent rain, spots of sunshine and brisk winds while the track that started out narrow and tacky finished wide and racy.  Heats saw 3 and 4-wide racing with lap times close to the track record.

All preliminary races were run without significant occurences.
