2020 Hobby Stock Champ Jeff Ware is gearing up for the 2021 Season

We now move on to the 2020 Eagle Raceway IMCA Hobby Stock points champion, Jeff Ware. This was Jeff’s 4th consecutive championship at America’s Home Track and that, coupled with another one at a different track garnered him the Nebraska State IMCA points crown.

I wondered what it was like to get yet another track championship “It’s pretty cool! Eagle is definitely one of my favorite tracks to race at”.

I asked what had occupied his time during the layoff. “I’ve been working on the car, plus my regular jobs at O’Reillys and Demon Decals, wrapping race cars”.

He had planned on a trip down to Texas to get in some races before the season started here in Nebraska. “The weather, temperatures and snow cancelled all that”.

His plans for the coming season were the next topic. “Just trying to keep racing. Eagle, Columbus, Albion; maybe sneak in another night when we can. I did build a brand-new car for this year. I’m staying in the hobby stock this year, but hopefully will move up to a stock car next season”.

I wished him good luck and told him I was sure that I would stop by to interview him a few times this coming season, and he replied “Well, that’s the plan!!”.

Jeff’s sponsors this year include T & R Auto, Shares Repair, Cork and Barrel, Demon Decals, CPD Racing Shocks, Quick Performance, Swift Springs, Roth Racing, Hein Auto Body and BT’s Bar and Billiards.
