Sunny skies and cooler than normal temperatures greeted a very large crowd who came through the gates of “America’s Home Track” for Eagle Raceway’s annual Kids Night, presented by No Frills Supermarket.
A total of 300 children left with huge smiles on their faces and also a new bicycle. Race teams, individuals and several companies purchased bicycles to be given away and Roger & Michelle Hadan chipped in also; buying 1 bike for every 2 that the race teams purchased. A big thank you goes out to Gary Dominguez who jumped in and took over the bike giveaway helm this year. Also, not enough can be said for all of the volunteers who assisted in 1 way or another to make sure that the giveaway went off without a hitch.

Eagle Raceway brought the “Rumble in the bullring” to the high banks of America’s Home Track Friday evening under sunny skies with heat indexes over 100 degrees. But, the temperatures and the humidity did little to keep the fans from enjoying a great night of racing. Four heat races for the IMCA Modifieds, 2 heats featuring the Good Old Time Racing Association and 3 heats of O’Reilly NCRA Late Models, coupled with B Features in the Modifieds and Late Models were the preliminary events which set the lineups for the 3 A Mains.

Late Model fans, it’s here… the night you have been waiting for… get ready to RUMBLE as the NCRA Super Late Model Series takes to the high banks of Eagle Raceway’s fastest BULLRING in the country! There will be some fierce racing action going on as the top Late Model drivers compete for the $3,000 top prize money. And it doesn’t stop there… the open-wheeled IMCA Monster Modifieds take on the BULLRING with their nose rings in place for the top prize of $1,000. Then out of the chute will be the Good Old Time Racing Association(GOTRA) Vintage Cars taking you back to the good ole time racing!
